Terms of trade
The terms on which PQUIP supplies its customers.
1. Who these terms apply to
These terms apply to every order placed with us, however it is placed: on the website, by purchase order, by email or by phone. Our guides set out the detail, and form part of these terms: Payment & terms, Freight & delivery, Order tracking and Returns & replacements.
2. Accounts
Wholesale accounts are opened on application through our website; we check your business details and usually decide within two business days. Your pricing level, payment terms and credit limit are confirmed when your account is approved. We may decline an application or close an account.
3. Prices
Prices on the website are your wholesale prices, shown when you are signed in, and exclude GST unless stated. GST applies where the law requires it; most mobility equipment is GST-free. Freight is charged separately. Prices can change without notice; the price that applies is the one confirmed when your order is placed. A quote from our website is valid for 14 days; after that, honouring its prices is at our discretion.
4. Orders
You can order on the website, or by purchase order to sales@pquip.com.au. An order is accepted when we confirm it. Orders received before 12pm AEST on a business day are usually dispatched the same day. To change or cancel an order, call (07) 3806 4274 before 12pm on the day you placed it; once it has been dispatched, a change becomes a return.
5. Payment
Payment is on account, by the due date shown on your invoice. No payment is taken at checkout. We do not accept card payments. Payments are applied to the oldest invoice first, unless your remittance advice says otherwise. While an account is overdue, new orders are held until it is paid in full. We may ask a new account to pay before dispatch. Interest on overdue invoices and recovery costs are set out in Payment & terms.
6. Delivery
Freight is quoted to your delivery address at checkout, as one charge per order, and is shown separately on your invoice, with GST. We cannot deliver to PO boxes. Where a delivery address turns out to be residential, or a delivery has to be re-attempted, the carrier’s extra charges may be passed on. Delivery times are estimates given by the carrier, and we are not liable for carrier delays.
7. Ownership and risk
Goods remain our property until they are paid for in full. Risk passes to you on delivery.
8. Damaged, faulty and wrong items
Every claim is made through our warranty & returns claim form. Report damage in transit within 10 business days of delivery, with photos of the goods and the packaging. Please do not send anything back until we have agreed it with you. Where a fault is confirmed, we replace the item and pay the freight; for a wrong item sent by us, we also pay the return freight.
9. Change of mind
We do not accept change-of-mind returns, but will normally arrange an exchange for goods that are unused, in their original packaging and fit to resell. A 15% restocking fee applies and return freight is at your cost.
10. Warranty
Frames are covered by our warranty for 12 months from the invoice date. The warranty does not cover parts that wear in normal use – including castors, wheels, brakes, grips, seats, armrests and upholstery – or damage from misuse, accidents, modification, improper storage or use outside the product’s instructions. Proof of purchase is required. Wear parts are available as spare parts.
11. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under that law. Where you sell our products on to your own customers, the Australian Consumer Law requires you to deal with your customer’s claim; see Returns & replacements.
12. Limitation of liability
Except where the law does not allow it to be excluded, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profits or business interruption.
13. Privacy
We handle personal information as set out in our Privacy policy.
14. General
These terms are governed by the law of Queensland. We may update them from time to time; the version on this page when you place an order applies to that order. Last updated: 5 October 2026.
